Municipality placed to the north of the Oriental region of the Vales, to a step of the region of Osona.

Placed in the places of l'Avencó, on a steep rock. Prehistoric monument that there forms a big rectangular camerawoman closed with big flagstones that are a testimony of the long history of poblamiento of the region.

. Church of Aiguafreda de Dalt
It is of the XIth century, although modified enough. Below it has excavated a cave - crypt of burials of the VII - IXth century. In front of the church there is a comunidor (small construction used for the ceremonies of protection and it averts against the storms) of the XVIIth century.
